MCP evidence snapshot: 3 August 2026. Trial records, recruitment status and projected dates can change after the snapshot and should be rechecked before operational decisions.
Relapsing classical Hodgkin lymphoma is being segmented by mechanism, treatment setting, geography and endpoint architecture. NCT07572123 is notable because it evaluates Nivolumab in a Phase 2/3 design sponsored by National Cancer Institute. The main development question is whether the protocol can translate its rationale into a clinically interpretable and operationally credible readout.

This phase II trial compares the impact of brentuximab vedotin and nivolumab after radiation to standard of care high dose chemotherapy (HDT)-autologous stem cell transplant (ASCT) in standard-risk patients with classic Hodgkin lymphoma that has come back after a period of improvement (relapsed) or that has not responded to previous treatment (refractory). In addition, the phase III trial will compare the effect of pembrolizumab after HDT-ASCT to standard of care HDT-ASCT alone in high-risk patients with relapsed or refractory classic Hodgkin lymphoma. Brentuximab vedotin is in a class of medications called antibody-drug conjugates. It is made of a monoclonal antibody called brentuximab that is linked to a cytotoxic agent called vedotin. Brentuximab attaches to CD30 positive lymphoma cells in a targeted way and delivers vedotin to kill them. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as nivolumab and pembrolizumab, may help the body
Allocation is Randomized, masking is None (Open Label), and the intervention model is Parallel Assignment. Planned enrollment of [object Object] participants across Not reported in the indexed record shapes statistical precision, execution risk and external validity. Interpretation should account for baseline risk, prior therapy, assessment schedule, missing-data handling and clinical relevance—not only statistical significance.
The current protocol points to [object Object] as the best available readout proxy. Because this is an active or newly posted study, a trial-specific result citation is not included until a normalized clinical-trial-result record becomes available. That gap is itself operationally important: teams should monitor first result indexing, conference abstracts, protocol amendments and changes to the primary-completion date.
Build a living trial monitor: connect to PatSnap MCP Servers and track recruitment, endpoint revisions, projected readouts and new result records without manually reconciling separate databases.
Drug & Asset MCP profile: Nivolumab is indexed as Monoclonal antibody, with target PD-1, mechanism PD-1 inhibitors, and global highest development status Approved.
Company & Deal Intelligence MCP profile: National Cancer Institute is resolved to a normalized organization record in MONTGOMERY COUNTY, United States. The organization workflow adds identity, location, portfolio and partnering context where available.
The sponsor profile matters because scientific rationale alone does not determine development value. Manufacturing readiness, portfolio fit, geographic reach, partnering capacity and the ability to fund confirmatory development can determine whether a positive signal becomes a competitive asset.
Monitor recruitment, enrollment changes, protocol amendments, endpoint hierarchy, primary-completion timing, first result indexing, asset ownership and sponsor partnerships. A change in endpoint, population or ownership can alter the probability of success before a headline data release.
NCT07572123 provides a focused lens on Relapsing classical Hodgkin lymphoma development. Its value will be determined by whether Nivolumab can convert the current Phase 2/3 design into evidence that is clinically meaningful, operationally credible and differentiated from competing programs.
