Introduction
A disorder which occurs during cataract surgery following administration at some time in the past (potentially years) of a substance with alpha-1 adrenergic receptor antagonist mechanism of action. Progressive pupil constriction is seen together with a flaccid iris that billows and prolapses towards the surgical incision.
