It’s “lights, camera, action” at Klick Health these days with the official opening of its own in-house production studio. Called Studio K, the full-service production setup includes a sound stage, edit suite, recording booth and green room — and it’s already booked up.
Rich Levy
Chief creative officer Rich Levy said most days are already claimed at the new studio that “allow(s) us to be incredibly nimble.”
“There are times when we will have an idea and we know the only way to really properly showcase this idea for our clients is to show them what it looks like,” he added.
Laura Denham
Klick employees, or Klicksters, are lining up to use Studio K to test those creative concepts and produce content and ads, along with using its music capabilities for sound design, sonic branding and original compositions. The studio even includes a Klick Casting group to find the right patients, celebrities or other talents for health and pharma clients.
Laura Denham, Klick SVP and executive creative producer who is overseeing Studio K, said it is “a point of differentiation for our creative department” that serves as an on-site content production hub, but also a creative “playground.”
That creativity flows outside of the studio literally as Klick commissioned an original art-tech mural for its exterior, created by Toronto artist Jason Zante, who has done projects for the Four Seasons Hotel Toronto and singer Justin Bieber.

Klick began work on the studio in early 2020 before the Covid-19 pandemic and continued through the empty office period which actually made it easier to construct the space, Levy said.
Klick Health readies for 25th anniversary, tapping new talent and expanding practices
The in-house studio is one of three new Klick business practices announced on Wednesday. The agency also debuted a new corporate branding group, Klick Brands, and a social media influencer practice called Klick Influence.
Klick Brands, headed by group design director Jay Schacher, began as an idea around how to create brands that had more of a “heartbeat.”
“We were finding a lot of brands are forgotten and again, they follow this same suit of potential clichés. We wanted to see what it would look like if we reinvented our process … (and) really elevated brands and branding and design,” he said.
Brad Einarsen
Klick Influence is being led by longtime social media Klickster Brad Einarsen, now SVP of social media. Klick has had a social media influencer practice for years, he pointed out, but is now formalizing the group and its specialty talents needed for pharma clients.
“It’s not like every other industry, it’s not CPG (consumer packaged goods). We can’t just give them product and say, ‘Hey, try this out’ for obvious reasons,” he said, adding Klick knows how to work with health influencers and “can coach them through that whole process — and that gets us the very best content from our creators for our brands.”
Meanwhile, the agency also is staffing up its creative and production talent. Klick added 12 new leaders from both inside and outside pharma and healthcare industries.
