A review.Nano Fusion Technologies, Inc. has been developing micro electro-osmotic pumps (EO pumps) for fuel cell system in mobile devices, since EO pump has some advantages over mech. micro-pumps: small form factor, higher pressure property, low operation voltage, no pulsation, no noise and low cost due to simple structure.Our micro-EO pump is equipped with self-priming structure so that EO pump can be used for methanol transport between fuel cartridge and cell stacks in orientation free manner.Continuous operation tests for more than several thousands hours has been carried out, and the result shows EO pump has enough durability.
