First Quarter 2023 Financial Results AVROBIO reported a net loss of $25.0 million for the first quarter of 2023 as compared to a net loss of $29.8 million for the comparable period in 2022. Research and development expenses were $17.3 million for the first quarter of 2023 as compared to $19.3 million for the comparable period in 2022. This decrease was driven by a reduction in personnel-related costs, including non-cash stock-based compensation, and partially offset by an increase in program development expenses. General and administrative expenses were $7.9 million for the first quarter of 2023 as compared to $10.2 million for the comparable period in 2022. This decrease was driven by a decrease in personnel-related costs, including non-cash stock-based compensation. Other income (expense), net was $0.3 million for the first quarter of 2023 as compared to other (expense) income, net of ($0.4) million for the comparable period in 2022. This increase in other income is due to an increase in interest income which was partially offset by interest expense related to our term loan.
