OBJECTIVETo study the optimum preparation technological process of Huangqin Qingfei Koufuye for mass production.METHODSThe optimum technology of extraction HCN from Semen Armeniacae Amarum was selected by experiments; The optimum conditions for the extraction process was selected with orthogonal design, and the content of baicalin in the extract as marker was determined.RESULTSThe optimum technology of extraction HCN from Semen Armeniacae Amarum was as follows: crushing to pieces, adding 3 times amount of 37 degrees C water and soaking overnight, extracting and collecting 1.33 times amount of extract; the optimum extraction process wasas follows: extracting 2 times, each time adding 12 times amount of water and extracting 1 h.CONCLUSIONThe preparation technological process can be used for mass production.

HPLC determination of ginsenoside Rg₁ in Danbie capsules

An HPLC method was developed for the content determination of ginsenoside Rg₁ in Danbie capsules.A Hypersil ODS column (4.6 mm × 150 mm, 5 μm) was adopted with acetonitrile-4% methanol solution (18: 82) as mobile phase.The flow rate was 1.5 mL/min^-1, the detection wavelength was 203 nm and the column temperature was 35°.The linear range was 0.99-9.94 μg (r = 0.9999).The average recovery was 96.0%, and RSD was 2.3% (n = 5).The method is reliable, reproducible, and high precision.It can be used for the determination of ginsenoside Rg₁ in Danbie capsules.

Determination of total chlorogenic acid in Xiaoer Qingre Lifei oral solution by HPLC

A reversed-phase high-performance liquid chromatog. (RP-HPLC) method for the determination of total chlorogenic acids in Xiaoer Qingre Lifei ioral solution was established.The assay was performed on Diamonsil C₁₈ column (250 mm × 4.6 mm, 5 μm) with the mobile phase of acetonitrile-0.4% phosphoric acid solution (10:90) under a flow rate of 1 mL/min^-1.The detection wavelength was set at 327 nm and column temperature was 30°.It showed good linearity in the range of 16.28-81.4 μg of chlorogenic acid (r = 0.9996, n = 5).The average recovery was 100.31% (RSD = 1.45%).The method was simple, rapid and accurate, and could be used for the determination of total chlorogenic acids in Xiaoer Qingre Lifei oral solution
