Objective To establish a method for the determination of antimony content in human prothrombin complex. Methods The content of antimony in human prothrombin complex was determined by hydride generation-at. absorption spectrometry. Results The calibration curve of antimony was linear in the range of 0-25.0 ng/mL with correlation coefficient higher than 0.99.The detection limit was 0.553 3 ng/mL and the quant. limit was 1.844 ng/mL.The recoveries were 95.93%-118.62%.Conclusion The method is simple, rapid, accurate and sensitive, and can be suitable for the determination of antimony in human prothrombin complex.
