[Translation] A single-center, open-label, randomized, single-dose, single-period, parallel-design bioequivalence study was conducted to evaluate the bioequivalence of the test preparation, leflunomide tablets, and the reference preparation, Arava® (leflunomide tablets), in healthy adult male subjects under fasting/fed conditions.

The pharmacokinetics of the test preparation leflunomide tablets (specification: 20 mg/tablet, produced by Merro Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.) and the reference preparation leflunomide tablets (Arava®, specification: 20 mg/tablet; produced by SANOFI AVENTIS U.S. LLC) in healthy adult male subjects were studied after a single oral administration in the fasting/fed state, and the bioequivalence of the two preparations in the fasting/fed state and their safety in healthy adult male subjects were evaluated.

本试验采用开放、随机、单次给药、两周期交叉设计，以原研药品百时美施贵宝公司生产，中美上海施贵宝制药有限公司分包装的盐酸二甲双胍缓释片为参比制剂，评价空腹状态下美罗药业股份有限公司生产的受试制剂盐酸二甲双胍缓释片在中国健康志愿者体内的药代动力学和生物等效性。以及其在健康受试者体内的安全性。

This study adopts an open, randomized, single-dose, two-period crossover design, using the original drug Bristol-Myers Squibb Company, and Sino-US Shanghai Bristol-Myers Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. packaged metformin hydrochloride sustained-release tablets as the reference preparation, to evaluate the pharmacokinetics and bioequivalence of the test preparation metformin hydrochloride sustained-release tablets produced by Merro Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. in Chinese healthy volunteers under fasting conditions. A Multi-institutional, Randomized Parallel Controlled, Phase II Clinical Trial on Comparison of Effectiveness and Safeness of Amifostine Every-other-day Regimen and Everyday Regimen From Monday to Friday

RATIONALE
Radiotherapy is the primary therapeutic strategy for nasopharyngeal carcinoma.
Radiotherapy may cause adverse effect such as xerostomia and mucositis.
Amifostine has the ability of protecting the normal tissue but also has some side effects.
PURPOSE
This phase II trial is to study the protecting effect and safety of different Amifostine regimens in patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma.
